Mountains and holes cover an Anthropocenic landscape. Decomposed bodies. Fragmented images. The mutable materials presented at the Tensions of Opposites exhibition become traces of a world in which stability exists only as a fleeting moment. What may seem solid is really just a knot in the web of constant transformation. Every form carries within its own dissolution and the potential for its recombination.
The exhibition develops from a processual understanding of reality in which bodies, images, materials and environments are not separate entities, but temporary constellations of relations. The world is not composed of firm objects, but is rather comprised through erosion, transformation and becoming. The body is not a boundary, but a passage. An image is not representation, but an event. The subject is not a center, but an effect of the relations that constantly form it.
