Adaptus
Adaptus is a speculative project in which we explore the limits of humanity. Through modern mythology and digital post-production, we seek to tell a story about the human species that will open the space of our minds and bodies to new ways of thinking. Our existence is connected to the world around us. Our every conscious and unconscious act can affect a person, animal, plant and thing on the other side of the planet. Our bodies cannot be separated from the air, other bodies, or our very existence. What we have caused affects us retroactively.
Based on predictions of the effects of the human species' monstrous treatment of the world around us, the consequences of which are already reflecting badly on lived experience, we are also trying to find positive visions through the Adaptus series. If we see our bodies as inseparable from the rest of the world and consciously accept the role of host, can we cultivate a symbiotic and all-species beneficial platform within ourselves?
The DUNA group was nominated to Futures Talents by Fotograf Zone in 2022.
Co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Union, FUTURES is a platform to increase the capacity, mobility and visibility of it's selected artists and to bridge the gap between emerging and established artists.

Co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, Futures is a platform focused on amplifying emerging talents in photography in Europe. Since 2017, the project has been offering a full programme to increase the capacity, mobility and visibility to various artists selected every year by leading art institutions across Europe.

FOTOGRAF ZONE FESTIVAL 2025 – TALK TOGETHER
The fifteenth edition of the international Fotograf Zone Festival, titled TALK TOGETHER, focuses on language and interpersonal communication in its many forms. This year’s festival will be presented in a condensed ten-day format, running from 3 to 12 October 2025, and will offer audiences new perspectives on how language shapes our relationships, understanding, and conflicts.

Dorota Franková – Tenderness and Pain of Dorota Franková’s Portraits
In her work, Dorota Franková focuses on portraiture. While the portraits of others tend to be full of tenderness and fragility, her own are captured in exacerbated situations or via manipulated photographs that emphasise the restlessness of the mind.

Rencontres d’Arles 2025
The Rencontres d’Arles Festival is the world’s oldest photography festival and probably also the most visited. As its name suggests, it is an opportunity for encounters. Alongside the official program, dozens of spontaneous events, initiatives, and exhibitions emerge, both official and unofficial, transforming the town into a vibrant cultural organism. This year, I had the opportunity to experience the Rencontres d’Arles Festival through the eyes of someone who moves between their own artistic and pedagogical practice and above all as someone who believes that photography has the power not only to depict but also to shape the social context.

DUNA – Adapting to the Present
We usually absorb science fiction stories with a certain condescension – after all, it's still fiction, underlined by future tense on top. It's just that time mutates insidiously from the present to the future, and we may not be where we were not long ago, even though we think we are. The DUNA group shows these mutations – on us and on our surroundings. Who are we right now? And what are we becoming?
