About The Festival

Fotograf Zone Festival is an international showcase of contemporary visual art, held annually in Prague since 2010. Building on the tradition of the photographic medium, the festival has from the very beginning understood photography in broader contexts – as a means of exploring image culture, moving image, and their relationship to current social issues.
Each year, the festival brings together exhibitions, performances, screenings, lectures, and discussions around a central theme. It invites both established and emerging artists and curators from the Czech Republic and abroad, creating a space for critical thinking, experimentation, and the sharing of experiences.
The festival is one of several projects organized by the non-profit Fotograf Zone, which is dedicated to the long-term support and presentation of contemporary art.

FOTOGRAF ZONE FESTIVAL 2025 – TALK TOGETHER
The fifteenth edition of the international Festival Fotograf Zone, titled Talk Together, focuses on language and interpersonal communication in its many forms. This year’s festival will be presented in a condensed ten-day format, running from 3 to 12 October 2025, and will offer audiences new perspectives on how language shapes our relationships, understanding, and conflicts.
